If your question is regarding what was original, neither your nut on the spark plug nor the end of your spark plug wires are as original. That type of spark plug wire end wasn't adopted until the '37 model year. Your plug nut is of a design not used by Ford (and is upside down in your photo).

On a ring or eyelet terminal, is the flat above or under the cloth coated wire?

Thanks, I could not find the hook end type. This is what Macs offered. I,ll try to find the replacable hook ends. Till then ,ll flip the ends over.

Both the correct brass loop-end wires and spark plug nuts are available from thirdgenauto.com.

Thanks, I,ll see if they have just the solder on ends. That way I won,t have to buy another set of wires. What is the difference on the nuts. Those came on the NOS C4 plugs. They were made in Canada. Could that be the difference?

These wires are also available from C&G.

You will not be able to save your current wires as you hope as the correct ends are not soldered on. Take a look at them in the thirdgenauto.com online catalog. The correct nuts are pictured there also.
