Can someone let me know how to check the reason my fuse is blowing on my 36 ford Tudor sedan. It is a 6 volt system. the fuse is a 14 amp. Is this fuse the correct one for my 36?

Original fuse is 20.A, 3AG size The fuse protects the wiring of the lights only from short circuits. In a lot of cases the light switch is the location of the problem. Find out exactly when the fuse blows for example when the switch is turned to the parking light position, or when the switch is turned to the high beam. This will simplify troubleshooting.

Thank You for that info. I also bought the service manual, and installed a 25 amp fuse in the fuse block. That was the problem, wrong size fuse that the prior owner put in.
