Topic: I need help with dimensions - 32 Ford

Does anyone know the proper following dimension

Distance between center of dashboard and center of steering column for a 1932 Ford 3 window?

Also are there any published dimensions for the body and interior of a 32 Ford 3 window?

Thanks,

Pete

Pete, I don't have a '32 3 window handy (darn!), but my Phaeton measures 9 3/8" from the center of the ignition switch on the steering column to the center of the choke knob in the center of the dash. As far as I know all of the '32 passenger cars used the same frame and steering mechanism, so the distance from the center of the car to the center of the steering column should be the same.

There is a side-view diagram on page 15 of the V8 Album that shows some dimensions.

Answers from a couple of 32 Ford Forums

9 3/8”, 9 7/8”, 10” & 12”

Thanks to all.
