Topic: Trico vs. King Seeley Wiper Systems

Trying to develop a resource for wiper arms and blades for King Seeley wiper systems (see attached). I've had to educate every supplier contacted thus far on the King Seeley systems (yes, my '47 is blessed with fully functioning KS system) as without fail every one source (other than Kent Jacquith) has insisted my car has been modified/down-revved to a '40 system) - this until I send the attached along with photos of my system showing full consistency.

Although the part numbers for the arms and blades appear the same for both systems, the KS arms and blades were/are ANCO (then 'ANderson COmpany' and still labelled as such) vs. Trico's versions and they are not interchangeable. Fortunate my original arms/springs are still functioning properly as I've not been able to locate back-ups so far.

Anyone know of any resources out there that may have knowledge of and supplies for this KS system beyond Kent Jacquith? I've already been through all the mainstream sources. Greatly appreciate any references you may be able to provide. Thanks -

Steve

I have no source info for you but understand 1947's were assembled from a mixed-bag of parts and the "Early Ford V8 Club book doesn't provide much clarity. My "late" (August) '47 used a Trico style 17470 vacuum control with the three hose connections.
