Topic: No lights

I started my 1935 Ford up the other day. None of my lights would come on. Both headlights and tail lights break lights are also out. The fuze under the dash was blown and I replaced it. But my lights still do not work. They were working when I parked my car. Are there fuzes that I am not aware of, or has my light switch gone bad?

  Maybe the fuse blew again....

Aparently I have a short. Fuze (25A) was blown again. i put in a 30A fuze and it did not blow. But still no lights.

Check the fuse again - it probably blew again when you tried the lights....

Or, I'd start looking for 'shiners'- worn insulation exposing the wire conductor and shorting to ground/frame. Is your wiring original to the car? Were you moving wires around while working under the hood or under the dash? Do you have an owners manual? The owners manual has a wiring schematic/diagram in it....

Thanks, I will start looking tomorrow. I do have a schematic. Some of the wires are a year old and some are a lot older.
