I just refinished my original window channels on my 36 Fodor and would like to know if there are any tricks to setting the glass and rubber into the channels. Do I just place the rubber on the glass and then carefully push the channels on, or put the rubber in the channel first. Soap?? Thanks

Put the rubber on the glass and then assemble to the channel. I find a rubber mallet works fine to coax the channel onto the glass. Support the glass on a narrow table or box, hold the glass so that it will be cushioned by your body and tap the channel with the mallet. Tom
