Who could you guys recommend for making a key for an original '34 passenger car ignition cylinder? I kind of like to use someone known in Ford circles. Thanks, Tim

I use John McLure in Cary, N.C.
I found him on the Fordbarn and have used him a half dozen times. He keyed my Victoria door and ign locks for me, repaired some locking spare tire locks, and a few glove box locks.
He provided great service at reasonable prices with quick turn around.

I have used Phil on several issues and he has been great. I do not know what the problem is with the Ign. lock. For your info the door lock should be the same and is usually easy to remove and get the NUMBER OFF THE LOCK CYL and then have a key cut to match. Then you could try it and if it works fine your are all set. If not the ign. lock cyl. can be removed and sent to Phil and have him fix the problem. Just my suggestion. Kerk

Another good guy to consider is Leon Rowell out in the mid West. He does excellent work at reasonable prices. He is also a member of Fordbarn but seldom posts there. He uses his own name in his avatar, so you can look him up in the membership listing and send a pm for your needs.
