Hello, the rear door on my 37 Sedan Delivery is missing the stock door latch/lock assembly. Does anyone know if this part is compatible with any other years? Thanks, Gregg

If it is like a 40 latch they are unique to the sedan delivery.

You are looking for part 48-785600. In the "Automotive Hardware and Trimming Supplies 1928-1938" book it fits 35, 36, 37 and 38 Ford Sedan Deliveries. Since a 39 is essentially a 38, it fits a 39 also. The 40 is a much bigger sedan delivery with a body built by Ford, not by Briggs Good luck with your search. I have only seen one in 15 years. At the Iola Car Show this year there was a 35 sedan delivery barn find for sale and pretty complete with most of the unique sedan delivery parts; except of course the rear lock assembly.

Thanks Juergen. At least now I can cast a broader net than just 1937. It is hard finding parts for this car. Am also looking for the spare tire mount/cover, when the spare tire is located on the interior passenger side behind the seat. Gregg
