Topic: Car Covers

Wanting to keep the sun off of the original interior while idled at Gettysburg and am thinking about covers. Short of covering the interior while parked with white sheets, anyone have any experience with covers? And if so, recommendations for styles, materials and sources for covers are appreciated.

Steve, California Car Cover gets my vote. Fit and quality of mine is superb. As for material, know that no car cover is going to protect your car from damage over a long period of storage, but that said, I believe you get what you pay for in a cover.

Thanks Alan - trjford8 also recommended them sometime back and also indicated they would stencil the EFV8 logo on as well for you. They seem to have the best quality covers I've seen thus far - given the '47 is garaged year-round I cannot justify the cost for meets-only applications.

Found this comment from supereal from December 25, 2011 (yep - Christmas of that year!):

"The cover must be "breathable" or it will damage your vehicle. Don't use a plastic tarp, or the moisture will ruin your car. The best ones we have used are cheap ones from Walmart. The keep off the dust, but let moisture to escape. No cover that I know of is safe for outdoor storage, regardless of claims."

Not trying to be cheap - just efficient, temp and UV effective.
