where does the dash light switch on a 38 conv. coupe get its power...the wire is black and blue...wire was all new in 2008 and did work

The B/Bl wire goes to the light switch. The tail lights and the rear license light are also part of the same circuit at the light switch. Unless the light switch is in one of the 3 "ON" positions there will be no power to the instrument lights.

I found the b-bl wire on the light switch...no power there...tried to get switch apart...it didn't want to part,,afraid of breaking it..everything else works..so I put it back together, done some magic...they now work.....don't tell anybody......THANKS ALL
