How can I install a temperature gage on a 1934 Ford flat head? The heads do not have a place to install one.
Thank You

My 34 has a port in the driver side water pump which holds the mechanical temperature sending unit.

The 35 and 36 left hand only water pumps have the port for the water temperature gauge. The 34 does not. The aftermarket gauges sold back in 34 called for the sending unit to be installed into the radiator hose and a special fitting was supplied. The 35 or 36 water pump housing will fit the LH head and is very close in appearance to the 34 pump.
