Are all 34 gas tank cover the same dimensions? The reason is that my 5W rear fenders are not correct and show a gap of about an inch between the gas tank cover and the lower portion of the fender. I assume the fenders are from a different body style. So I need to either alter the lower fender welt area or change the gas tank cover to a better fit... Thanks!

To my knowledge all the covers are the same. It looks like your fenders are the problem. On your car the coupe/roadster fenders are the same. The sedan and phaeton fenders are the same , but do not work well on the coupe.
