I have a 48 ford super deluxe with a single hole in steering column bracket for my ignition switch, is there a different bracket to mount a ignition switch light, the wiring harness under the dash has light socket for that area.

There is a hole in the dash above the ignition switch. Behind this hole is a socket for the light to mount in. Should work.
