I am installing a new dash in a 1941 coupe. Does anything go between the dash assembly and the body, mainly where the dash attaches around the lower part of the windshield frame, tape or cloth or is it just metal to metal??

On my '41 Coupe I used brown fender welting. It goes from the edge of the dash where it meets the upholstery. C&G part no. B-16070-BRD

Between the dash and the body, use anti-squeak cloth. I believe that Roy Nacewicz sells it. Between the dash and the windshield moldings use the fender welting. Tom This message was edited by TomO on 4-10-16 @ 8:02 AM
