Does anyone know where I can get. 40 over conrods and .30 over mains? Working on '37 Flathead 221 cid, 85 hp. I can't seem to find any.

Typically anything over .030" is considered trash. I for one would never consider using them. I doubt you will ever find .040" bearings. I don't even recall ever witnessing them being produced. .030" main bearings are readily available.
