Hi Everyone, Remember that the V-8 Club, and the V-8 Foundation are two different organizations.

It's my opinion everyone should be a member of both. I signed up as a life member last summer. I got my first membership as a gift from Bob Malley (an offer at the Hiawassee meet) and have been a member ever since. Our regional group signed up every single member for Foundation membership with funds raised by hosting a National Meet.

The foundation is going to build another building, more than doubling their space. The point of the '40 Coupe raffle was to pay for some of that building.

I wonder if everyone knows that the next $25,000 they raise will have $75,000 added to it by a generous donor.

It's a fine group of people that run the Early Ford V-8 Foundation & Museum. They deserve all the support we can send their way, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnston, who donated the car, should sleep very well tonight.

Hi...The car is still at the museum in Auburn. At the last club meeting, I came to understand that the winner is not really interested in owning the car, and would like to part with it. Maybe others with more info could supply more details on the situation. BT

The Foundation had drawn two other tickets for backup in case the winner did not want the car. I'm sure that one of those tickets will own the car if the original winner passes on it.
