Tore down a 41 1.5 ton truck and the engine is a 59AB with an 8BA crankshaft--or at least it has one bearing per rod. Ordering new bearings and the book shows a different number for the 59AB and 8BA main bearings. Would think one would use the 59A since that is what the block is but don't know and old bearings were discarded. Any help is appreciated; Evan

Main bearings must match the block. 59A to 59A. 8BA to 8BA. The tang is in a different location on the rear main, other wise all the same.
