Topic: 21 stud help in Dallas, TX area

I found a rebuildable '34 motor recently and am just about through with disassembly. So far, no cracks, but at least one cylinder will need to be honed. I'm not in a hurry or looking to upgrade the motor - just want it as stock as possible. As I get ready to have it cleaned, magnafluxed, etc., I would like to do that with a local shop that has experience with the early non-insert 21 stud motors, can repour the babbits, general flathead experience, etc. (I don't know for sure the babbits are bad, but it doesn't look like the motor was ever taken apart and the cylinders are still 3 1/16" diameter). Can anyone recommmend a shop in or within a few hours drive of Dallas, TX?

Thanks,
Ron

If you are a V-8 Club member you should check your roster and call a local regional group near you in Texas. Members usually have good information regarding shops that can do this type of work.
