  Hi
I got my car back from paint and had the rear windows installed with new seals from bob drake and they leak. there was only one seal that goes around the window and slides over the exterior sheet metal. should there be something else there or is this just poorly mfg seals. not much tension on the metal outside between seal and metal. do they have to be glued down ?

Thanks Joe

Use 3M clear windshield sealer between the body and the rubber. A small amount is all that is needed. Too much makes a mess. I like to add some between the glass and the rubber also.

In addition to TomO's advice, I put masking tape around the edge of the seals. Any sealant that moves out goes on the tape and reduces your cleanup.
