I'm looking at finding out how many quarts a 1941 Ford Super Deluxe with a flat head V8's cooling system is. I've put in Skip's rebuilt water pumps and want to refill the system with a 50/50 antifreeze mix. Thank you. Frank

It would be in your small owners manual or a "Motors Manual" should be close to 21 quarts , I would use that for its close. 2 1/2 gal of straight 100% antifreeze or just fill completely with 50/50 mix. ken ct.

Just curious why you think the need for a 50/50 mix? Do you live in an exceptionally cold climate?

A 50/50 mix is pretty standard for people up north. 60/40 could be used in more warmer climites (60% H2O). Never stated where he lives. ken ct.
