I have a factory continental kit missing bracket from frame to attach bumper. Need pictures to fabricate a bracket. Thanks for any pictures showing bracket.

Do you have a part number?

According to my reference book, The 1949-50-51 Ford Book, published by the Early Ford Club of America, there was no such thing as a "factory" continental spare tire kit offered by the Ford Motor Company in 1951. Your continental kit is an after market add on.

Only the station wagon had an exterior mounted spare tire and that was attached to the rear tail gate.

Thanks for reply. I have seen many kits like the one I purchased years ago. There was a green '51 on ebay showing the exact kit I have. I thought it was factory because I have seen so many of them. They all had grooves in the plate going back to bumper. Continental Enterprises of Canada makes aftermarket with no grooves. Sorry I said factory. I need a picture showing the brackets from frame to bumper. Thanks again.
