Topic: 1938 Tudor window glass installation

I am trying to install new window glass in my '38 Tudor. When removing to old glass I remove the glass along with the regulator. I broke two of them while removing. There must be a better way to install the new glass.

Anybody with advice????

Ron, roll the window up and then remove the screws holding the regulator. Lower the regulator with the window and then slide the regulator off the track. Once the regulator is removed you can drop the glass all the way down and take it out of the door.

I have been sucessfull getting the two front glasses back in. However, I put the channel on the back glasses and cannot figure a way to wedge them back into the car. I have been thinking that I can take the channels back off the glass and then insert the glass from the top. I'm not sure I can get them taped back into the channels while the glass is in the window cavity. If I can do that, I can get the regulators inserted and lift the glass and regulators into place so that I can screw the regulator in place. Wish me luck.
