Topic: 1941 Rose Beige

In the 1941-1948 Ford book it indicates that the steering column on a 1941 should be Rose Beige. I have looked around but have not found anyone that sells this color. I just need enough to do some touch up on my steering column. Does anyone know of any place that sells this paint color? Also, I see this color listed quite a bit for 1963/64 Fords. Does anyone know if this is the same color? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem with my '41. Took the steering wheel to a local PPG dealer who mixed a good match.
This was 16 years ago. I would imagine that today with computers they can get it very well.

If you column has a patch of good paint 1 inch by 1 1/2 inch, take to a paint shop. They probably have a scanner that can help them mix the paint to match what you have on your column.

If you car can be driven, drive it to the paint shop. That would be a lot easier than removing the column.

If you are talking about the 1941 to 1948 Book that the V-8 Club puts out the formula is on page E-4. Any paint shop can mix it for you with this info. The quantity listed is for one pint.
