Can someone tell me what the thread/size the fuel pump ports and the size of vacuum port in the intake. They are close to 5/16 and 1/8".

later pumps like 49-50 an later have 1/8" pipe threads and older ones have 1/2 X 20 threads (straight not PT ). Just like a 94 ford-holley gas inlet thread. ken ct. Vacume hole is 3/8 X 24 straight thread but uses a small compression type fitting with a very sharp taper to the end of it and compresses as you tighten the fitting. (no compression band is used on this type. Unless you have a 40's or later that has the big hole under the carb mount.I have all the fittings if you need some. Ken ct.

Thank you Ken ct. The fuel pump is a 1/2" fine and the vacuum port is 3/8" fine. I tried bolts and easily checked the threads. I plugged the rear intake vacuum port with a socket head or allen bolt and it looks fine. That rear port must be for wipers.

The 2 3/8 ports on the left side of the intake manifold, correct the rear one is for wipers and the front one is for dist vacume hookup. The 49 an later carbs also have a 3/8 hole on back of carb that one is for the vacume can on the side mount late dist. Hope this helps. ken ct. Have a nice day! This one gives diff vacume than the other 2.
