Anyone have experience with 7.5 to 1 C. R. pistons in a 21 stud engine? One concern I have is starting with a 6 volt system (good NAPA battery). Thanks! - R.J.

I don't have any experience with a high compression 21 stud engine, but my 53 Lincoln has 8:1 and starts fine with a 6 volt Optima. If the starter, cables and battery are all in good condition, I don't see why you would have a problem with that compression ratio. Tom
