In high school on my 50 conv I replaced the hood ornament with a BULL NOSE device that was flat to the hood. Does anyone know if they are available today? Have checked major suppliers without luck. Thanks.

Hot Rod and Custom Supply used to have them , but unfortunately they are no longer in business. You need to check around and call the shops who do customs, such as Dick Dean, etc. Also watch e-Bay as they sometimes show up there. I found a bull nose for a '53 on there about two months ago for my neighbor.
