Topic: '36 Ford fuel line

My '36 has a hard fuel line all the way to the pump, no short rubber line. Is that correct? The vin number indicates that it was assembled in April of 1936.

You need to have the short flexible line from the hard line to the pump to allow for engine movement, It is unsafe otherwise and the fuel line will break or leak. Most of the vendors have them and Robert Shewman makes a nice one which resists damage due to ethanol gasoline. He advertises in the V-8 Times.
