  quick question . on my car i lost both low beam headlights but have both high beams . would this issue be solved by replacing floor dimmer switch? i think so if memory services me right . thank you in advanced. tested bulbs with ohm meter and have resistance.

valve covers can't leak if they don't exist .

  Just 'message' the the "floor dimmer switch" by pressing it on and off several times rapidly. This will 'message' the contacts in the floor switch as it is not used very often and will cure the 'contact' problem you are experiencing in that switch....

  tried the idea listed did not work . im trying to check other possibilitys that may cause this trouble

  found have power going to high beams but none to low beams thinking floor switch is my issue.

  It sounds like you have about narrowed it down. It is possible for there to be a bad connection in the harness. Check for power out of the dimmer switch to eliminate the wiring harness.
