#E8633 is on back of block is this from a 47 truck if not then what (24 head bolt pattern Also are water pumps the same from a car as truck Putting in 34 ford

Here is a link to flathead engine identification. You will see that it is difficult to pinpoint an engine to a certain year of manufacture as the engine number was stamped on the frame and not on the block. It is not unusual to find non-Ford numbers stamped on a block, as the "authorized" rebuilders did it to confirm that it was their work in the case of a warranty claim. We mark all of our rebuilds for the same reason.

If the E8633 is a raised number (not stamped) on the casting it is a number used in some way by the foundry. It most likely identifies the pattern used to cast the block. The only way to further identify the engine is to have the transmission that was originally attached to the engine. That has a sequential serial number stamped on the top of the transmission case just above the little door to inspect the clutch.
