Replacing my horn relay. What is the position of the three wires.... power, from horn button, and to the horns themselves, going top to bottom.

Got them mixed up. Duh.

Thanks.

Are the terminals on your relay marked using letters? If they are marked H - B - S, the horn wire goes to terminal marked 'H'. The 'B' terminal is for the battery wire. The 'S' terminal is for the horn button wire....

No - I have two relays, but they are not marked in any way. I believe the wire from the two trumpet horns went to the bottom tab but am not sure about the horn button and power wire.

It is a 46 flathead.

I'm not for sure, but the hot terminal and the horn wire terminal are opposite ends of the coil that sucks the contacts together so it shouldn't make any difference which is where. A couple of jumper wires should sort it out pretty quickly.

Here's a picture of a relay with the terminals marked. If yours looks like this the terminals may well be the same.

The center terminal is for the hot lead (battery). With the battery lead connected, you can determine which terminal the horn button lead (switch) connects to by applying a ground to either of the end terminals, one of which will cause the relay to activate. You should be able to hear or feel the relay activate.
