  1935 & 1936 Ford Windshields, 2 Questions.

1. Do the two years (1935/1936 cars) use the same windshield frame?
2. Do all models use the same windshield?

I now know the pickup has a higher windshield than
the car. I assume the Deluxe car would be chrome
and Standard car would be painted.
Any 35/36 Experts out there?

"The windshield frame is identical for 1935 and 1936 in each of the body styles. Deluxe windshields were chrome plated, while standard frames were painted body color. Windshields on closed cars are hinged at the top and open outward at the bottom. Cabriolets and Convertible Sedans have a frame that is flatter across the top, is wider material, and is fastened permanently to the windshield opening in the cowl. The Roadster and Phaeton bodies have a unique chrome plated frame that is mounted between two cast, chrome plated stanchions attached to the top of the cowl. The '35 and '36 stanchions are not the same." This information is in the club's 1935-36 Ford Book by John Swanberg and Don Rogers. It is a very useful reference.

  Thank You,
I'm a 34 guy and thought the 35/36 was the same, but was no not sure. I bought a windshield that the seller said was a 34. He was wrong and I wanted to know for sure before I resold it. I love the 33/34 Restoratdion Book that I own, but din't buy the 35 Book because I don't plan to ever restore my 35 Pickup.
Why ruin perfection?
