Topic: Hinge Pin Extraction

I would like to add swan neck, hinge mounted side mirrors to my 1935 coupe. Unable to remove either upper hinge pin thus far despite lots of penetrating oil and banging away. Advice appreciated!

The pin is knurled near the head. I had to drill the head to relieve the knurled 1/2". The swan neck mirror is not correct for your pickup. Go for the straight neck version.

i'd go with a hinge pine removal tool https://www.bobdrake.com/FordItem.aspx?Item=TL-100
as I recall, I had to use a small 1/4 drive socket as a sleeve to keep the push pin lined up with the hinge pin.

Thanks for the recommendations, gentlemen! Cliff, I am located in West Michigan. A friend here does have an air chisel that I might try.
