Topic: '37 Lower Cowl Repair

Whifty    -- 09-17-2015 @ 7:20 PM
I am replacing the lower cowls on my '37 and bought the EMS patches. Mine were repaired long ago and are full of bondo and are flat. The new panels have a crude crease in them that follows the fender as seen in the photo. Is this crease as original or are they suppose to be flat? I know these EMS panels aren't the best to begin with but this crease doesn't look right. Appreciate your input.

I used EMS cowl panels on my 38 conv...the edge toward the door was to rounded...and didn't match the original..I had to weld the corner then file it to make it square ...might check yours hope they are ok
