We are Hershey bound and looking for brake drums for '36 and '46 Fords. What would the inside diameters be, minimum and max dimensions, would '36 be 12-12.060 ?, would '36 pick up be the same, what would '46 dimensions be ? Is there anyone making new drums and if so any comments on them ?

'36 drums should be 12.00 - 12.60. don't know about the others. I can only wish someone made new drums for '36 - '39.

Hi Everyone, I added a couple of photos to the FordBarn thread, but here's the one showing JM's Drum Measuring tool. It has acorn nuts on each end, with a regular nut used to jam against the acorn nut, so he can lock a fixed length to the rod. Very portable and durable. -VT/JeffH

Hi Again, Forum software not letting me remove or edit photo attachment. I think I have it oriented correctly this time. -VT/JeffH
