How do these splash shields attach on the the 1941 Ford? It looks like there ought to be some spacer between the brackets of shield & the frame. I have the chassis part book plus the 1941 - 48 book that the EF V8 club put out,but there isn't anything listing the fasteners or how these shields mount. This is the 11A-8240-B shield. Larry, The 39 and 40 shields use the radiator mounting bolts and a couple of bolts to hold the shield to the frame and grill. The 41 is different and I cannot help you with it. Try contacting the Club's 41 Adviser, he sould be able to help you. Tom
