Topic: Color wheels

  Hi
About my Ford V8 Cabriolet 1935 I have the following doubt.
The wheels are painted in same car color. A friend of mine told me that this model car wheels were always painted red regardless of the color of the car.
I am very grateful if anyone can confirm if it is really true, because I want to have my Ford like original.
Thanks

It's my understanding that there were wheel color options available to the buyer/dealer. Apple green, for example was an alternate to poppy red.

If you can, order a copy of the 1935-1936 Ford book from the club here on the website under "shopping". It will describe the standard features and options for your car.

If your wheels are presently the same as the color of the body, that is one of the original combinations that Ford offered in the 1935 model year. Whomever told you that the wheels were always painted red is incorrect. They could be body color or a different contrasting color such as the apple green mentioned above or red or black or cream color.

E verdade!

Thanks for the information provided. I was glad to know that my Ford has one of the original color combinations.
