  h*llo i am doing a restoration on a 48 super deluxe 8 for a customer and am having trouble with the cardboard panels in the trunk how do they mount? the best ways to mount? our shop mainly deals with 70's muscle cars and this has us all scratching our heads to the best working/looking methods thank you in advance.

  I believe they all used small, about #6 sheet metal screws. Look inside your trunk and you will see the holes where the origionals fastened along the edges of the panels. You might also look at detailed pictures of cars for sale on ebay and other sites.

  My 42 attached with the screws as mentioned above.

  Same w/my '47 but they used a "Finish" washer with the screw. Washers and screws generally are available plain, chrome, or brass.

  If you bought a kit from LeBaron-Bonnney they should have come with the correct screws.
