Topic: "Green Bible" Equivalent For Later Flathead Cars

Is there an equivalent of the "Green Bible" that covers the 1949 and later Flathead powered cars and trucks? If so, where can they be obtained? Thank you for any information you can provide.

Starting in 1948 the car and truck catalogs were split apart. Ford issued a two-volume compilation for '49-'59 cars in 1964, while a similar two-volume compilation for '48-'56 trucks was issued around the same time, if not slightly earlier. These volumes do not contain all parts - only those that were still in inventory at the time of printing.

Ford also published a 49-53 Passenger Chassis Parts and Accessories catalog.

None of these have been reprinted to my knowledge, so you will have to find one at a literature dealer or swap meet vendor. They do come up on E-Bay also.

There is a similar catalog for Mercury. The Lincoln one stops at 1951 and there is another one from 1952-1955.
