Topic: 36 Cabriolet window regulators

I have noticed a difference in physical location of the window regulator handles when comparing left door to right door. The actual regulator on the right door is longer in length than the one for the left door and is geared to raise window with less effort. Neither one looks like it has been modified to fasten to the door and am wondering if this is factory or someones quik fix because there was no replacement available for the left door.

There was a change in the location of the handles for open cars between 1935 and 1936. Is it possible one door is from a 1935 Cabriolet?

Thanks, Gary Tosel

the 35 regulator fits to the door with six screws, the 36 has 8. there is a good photo of the regulators in the 38 hardware book 36= 68-742700-A rh
