Topic: Found under the driver's seat...

Was looking under the driver's seat for a garage door opener thought to have fallen through to the floor and saw the attached sticking out from under the original floor insulation of my '47 (missed for the first 1.5 years of ownership). Thought some of you might get a kick out of it - one side of it pre-dates me but some of you may have enjoyed one in your past. Cheers -

2nd pic of the inner cover for grins...

(apologies for the rotation - sometimes I can't figure out how some pics will attach here)

Neat. You never know what you will find in some of these old cars.

Bit-O-honey .... loved them. Still do. My dentist always has too.

The 'Old Nick' candy bar was what was surprising to me - never heard of it nor had one. Looked it up and found it was popular in the '40s/'50s and was discontinued somewhere around 1960, so the book of matches is at least that old. Glad they never fired up - tried one and it lit immediately.

Rear ash trays of our 53 Victoria.

Wrappers deposited by my DW as she and her Sister were being shuttled around by Grandma Burke. (Bertha)
