Topic: Mac's Auto Parts

Here is a good story about Mac's. A shop recently installed a rebuilt engine into my '41 Ford. The flywheel on the rebuilt engine is 10" vs: 9" on the other engine. I purchased a new 10" pressure plate and clutch from Mac's. The shop was unable to get a clutch adjustment after installation. They pulled the engine and suspected there might be a problem with the pressure plate. They spoke to Tech Rep Ken who had another pressure plate shipped to them. They were the same in all measurement. The problem turned out to be the equalizer shaft. Since the problem was not the parts, I sent the pressure plate back to Mac's along with an explanatory note and a check for $33.04 to cover the cost of their shipping to me as well as the UPS label they sent for return of the other pressure plate.
Today they sent my check back with a note stating since I sent the part back in good condition they were returning my check.
Everyone always tells you when you do wrong but never when you do right.

I've been a Mac's customer for many years. I've never had a problem with them and don't know anybody who has.

I've been a Mac's customer for years, and like cliftford stated, I've never had any problems with them. I use them primarily for all three of my vintage Fords!
