In my opinion, the Ford parts books are about as good as you are likely to encounter. I would recommend a book printed as close to the date of your car as possible. Later books are especially misleading at times as parts books (regardless of date) indicate service replacement parts which often are not identical to its factory installed counterpart.

I would not rely on the drawings in the parts books for an accurate representation of what was available in the year that your car was made. I would buy the Club's book for your cars, as they are more accurate. Tom

Automotive Hardware and Trimming Supplies 1928~1938 by Ford is as good as it gets. The original publication was 8 1/2 x 11 and is scarce, but the half size polyprints is also an excellent reference for the early Fords. Alan

I only pay attention to 33-34 cars personally and for 33's I use my march 34 dated chassis parts book . For 34 I will also use my June 35 dated chassis parts book . As already stated you want them as close as you can to your cars build time . The green [ orange ] bible is much better for your 46 than your 36 as it was printed in 48-49 . They are pretty much a joke for the early V-8 cars . As an example by June 35 MANY 33 only parts are already gone . I have a good supply of old parts books and newer ones including the clubs books . NONE OF THEM compare to the first two I listed for accuracy and complete coverage of 33-34 cars . The best choice IMHO for your 36 would be a 36 or 37 dated one .
