Topic: Best Source for Wiring Harness

carcrazy    -- 03-26-2015 @ 1:06 PM
Recently bought a mostly original '53 Ford that could benefit from new wiring harnesses from front to rear bumpers. What is the best source for original type 6 volt wiring harnesses that won't break the bank? Please advise. Thank you.

I have used Tyree Harris in VA for severalc cars. Last was 53 Victoria and ran about 800 $ for quality correct wiring. There are others also. Tyree is very helpful with your questions. Don

I've had great experiences with Rhode Island Wire. High quality wire, terminals and even color coded and sized like the original harness. May not be the cheapest price, but I know I will never have to do it again.

Also try Bauer Electronics in Bend , Oregon. Ph# 541-389-7755. They make harnesses for many of the V-8 vendors.

Another pitch for Rhode Island Wiring. Not cheap, but very high quality and attention to detail.
