I tried to turn the lower bushing c.c.wise. it turns about 3-4 turns and gets so tight it won't turn anymore. So i tried turning it clockwise. Same thing-gets so tight you can't turn it anymore. Can't turn the upper bushing at all.How do I get it off to install a new one?? Please someone call me!!!   To remove the steering gear idler arm:
Remove the cotter pin, remove the nut by turning counter clockwise, support the steering arm near the ball stud and tap the stud out of the arm.
