When laying down a intake gasket on a 35 Ford do I put it on dry or do I put grease on it? If so what grease do I use?
Anyboy have a sequence on how to tighten down an intake manifold?
Does anyone use grease or lube on the carburator linkage rods to release the ball off of the carburator? If so what grease?
Thanks in advance.

Mating surfaces clean... no sealer nor grease required. No lubrication should be required on the throttle linkage. If you insist on lubrication, I might suggest some white lithium grease.

I have never seen a sequence for tightening the intake manifold, but I start at the middle and work outward. The bolts do not require much torque to seal the gasket, about 20-25 ft.lbs. should do it.

I agree wit6h Mike's answer.
