One of the running board trim pieces, along the outer edge has become loose. I don't want to glue it..as I see it is a press-type fit, after checking the other side. Is there a trick to getting it to stay fastened? Any help would be appreciated...also, should I need another one...are they available out there? Can't seem to locate anything...just in case. Thanks

Greetings, The trim I'm pretty sure is a snap fit and very tight. There is a ridge on the top outer edge of the running board that holds it. Perhaps there is something about the rubber that is keeping it from holding. Is it the same problem on both sides? If you need new ones, try Mark Kicsak in New York. He is very knowledgable and might have a cure. Good luck. Ron

Thanks for your helpful information. the running board rubber was too "thick" on the bottom edge. I trimmed it lightly, and carefully widened the lower lip of the trim, then buffed the piece out. When I reinstalled it, I carefully used wood strips and clamps, with trim adhesive in spots along the way, it is now tight, right, and solid. I thank you for answering.
