It is a 21 stud but not sure its a 32. Not a 32 intake manifold, carb 39 up, oil breather not 32,gen not 32, voltage reg wrong, fuel pump not sure hard to make out.Would need more pics to be sure. 32's had straight pointing down block drain cocks. 33 and later had canted outward ones.Definate give away. omo ken ct.

Firewall looks original from the patina and the fact that I don't think that the early firewall (with the deep recess you can see in the lower right hand corner of the picture) was ever reproduced. Of course the voltage regulator was later and doesn't belong on the firewall and a couple of the wires appear to be in the wrong holes.

As far as the motor I see nothing older than 1935 on it .

The firewall is definitely early '32, but without further information/photos, the odds are against the engine being a '32 given all of the later components that show in the photo (not one being an original '32 component).

David, I know you were not referring to the left hand exhaust manifold in terms of your dating comment.

Busted . Didn't know I was going to critiqued at that level . Is no place safe anymore ? Anywayz next time I will add that it does not have the 32 only straight manifold with the dipstick outboard of the manifold . I'll go lay by my dish for penance . David J
