I am having trouble locating the correct heater fan switch for my 40 convertible. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I am also looking for the correct cigar lighter. Thanks

Larry Caplin in CA has some reproduction 1940 heater knobs and other heater parts. You might try him. Tom

There are two switches on eBay ending in about three hours: 320487264449. They have the later '46-'48 knobs, but will work in your '40. Check with Larry Caplan (818/363-2849) for the correct '40 knob, and the cigar lighter. If the car has a radio, a special (i.e., hard to find) lighter receptacle is required. Hope this helps.

if you buy a 41-48 type switch, check with Larry Caplan to see if the repro knob will work on that switch. My original knob does not line up correctly when put on a later switch. The same is tru of an original 1939 hot water heater switch. Tom
