OUR 41 is an earlY manufactured car as we have three piece front fenders. I knoW 6 cylinder 1941 cars were manufactured in Kansas at the KC plant in WINCHESTER AVENUE PLANT, HOWEVER I DONT KNOW IF OUR 1941 Super Deluxe was made there also our frame number is 6221261. Our 41is also a 67-B with Auxiliary seats. I was told when I purchased that it was a Kansa car but they were not completely sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thk you josh?

It is common knowledge throughout the Early Ford V8 member group that the serial/VIN on the pre '49 cars has no bearing on where or when the car was built, because Ford assigned the numbers at the Detroit engine plant when the engine/trans were joined together.
The serial number was then transferred to the chassis when the engine assembly was placed into the chassis.
All V8 cars have 18- as the leading number in the serial number, 4 and/or 6 cylinder cars have a different starting number..
