I recently bought a 1947 super deluxe, although the front and rear glass is OK all side glass is cracked and delaminated. I do not know how to address this, I can get new glass cut I guess (anyone tried this - how much $) or are their companies that have original glass for sale, or is it only available at car events? Thanks in adavance. Jim

I recently used Sanders for my 48. Don't know if they are the best or the cheapest, but I am completely satisfied with my glass. They advertise in the V8 Times. They will even include the FoMoCo Scripting appropriate for your year car. WWW.Sandersrepoglass.com/V8.

Likewise. I tried having glass cut from local glass dealer. It looked OK for a while but then spontaneous cracks started from the edge and grew across too many times. I concluded that the way they were breaking the glass on the curves and rounded corners were causing the spontaneous cracking. Bought from Sanders and no more problems. Their price was pretty much what it cost to have it cut locally too.
